Dr. Chaitanya Raut is a Consultant Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon (CVTS) with extensive experience in the surgical management of complex heart, lung, and vascular conditions. He has over 14 years of experience in Cardiac Surgery and is committed to providing safe, advanced, and patient-focused surgical care.

Dr. Raut completed his M.Ch. in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) from LTM Medical College and LTMG Hospital (Sion Hospital), Mumbai, followed by DNB CVTS from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He also holds an M.S. in General Surgery and an MBBS from LTM Medical College and LTMG Hospital, Mumbai.

His clinical expertise includes Cardiac Surgery, Minimal Access Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery), and Vascular Surgery. He has significant experience in coronary artery bypass surgery, minimally invasive cardiac procedures, valve surgeries, thoracic operations, and peripheral vascular procedures.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Raut has served as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of CVTS at LTM Medical College and LTMG Hospital, Mumbai, contributing to the training of future surgeons while remaining actively involved in patient care. He has previously served as a Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) at Sion Hospital, Mumbai, for over 10 years, contributing to both clinical care and the training of future surgeons.

Dr. Raut is currently associated as a Consultant CVTS with Thunga Hospital (Malad, Mira Road & Juhu), Bhaktivedanta Hospital (Mira Road), and CritiCare Hospital (Malad & Kurla). He has authored and co-authored 18 scientific publications and has presented research papers and posters at national conferences, reflecting his continued commitment to academic excellence and advancements in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.
